The Simulation Database is a subset of the Tech Database dedicated to the documentation of the simulation engine. As this information describes in detail the working of the simulator, which would remove the challenge of operating vessels systems for players, access is restricted to producers responsible for the development and maintenance of the simulator engine.

Simulation database articles can be accessed both from a dedicated menu tree under the technology menu in the main Tech Database. Individual articles will also be displayed in the Tech Database menu in context with general-access articles about ship systems.
