The EMDAR console allows the tactical team to analyse and manage data from the vessel's EM detection arrays, which provides data to identify and locate other vessels in surrounding space.

The console is made up of two panels. One provides displays sensor data, while the other allows users to manage the interpretation of that data (in the form of identifying 'contacts').

Component Panels

The console's component panels are:

TL-EMD01 EMDAR Monitor: Often referred to as the 'waterfall display'. This provides a visual representation of EM data from the vessel's broadband EMDAR arrays.

TL-EMD02 EMDAR Contacts: Referred to as the 'contacts board' this panel allows management of EM data analysis from 'possible contact'right through to 'tracked TSMO'.
