SC-FRQ03 Frequency Condition

 This panel allows simulator administrators to manually set frequency conditions on the frequency analysis proximity grid SC-FRQ01 to be viewed by the simulation crew.

The layout of the two panels is similar, with a standard proximity grid to the right and monitors for selected grid sectors on the left.

SC-FRQ01 Peak Frequency Analysis

 The peak frequency analysis system assesses EM radiation passively detected in proximity to the vessel, providing insights into its function and purpose.

Frequency analysis is only possible on EM detections made relatively closer to the vessel (up to 1000 GUs) and higher intensity than for broadband EMDAR (which has a maximum range of 5000 GUs).

New Scan Analysis Panel

Two new panels have been added to the science console, including the scan analysis panel which provides a 3D visualisation of objects in space.

SC-SCN02 Active Scan Panel

 The Active Scan system uses radio direction and ranging (RADAR) which emits radio band EM to detect objects within the Tactical Operating Environment (TOE).

SC-SCN01 Scan Analysis

 The direct scan system uses a a range of sensor technologies to analyse the configuration of objects in space.

The scan analysis panel displays a 3D visualisation of the targeted object. The fidelity of the visualisation is improved as more data is gathered.

This is a placeholder for active scan science console panels.

Planetary Scan

This is a placeholder for planetary scan console panels.
