Also interesting that these are "high-temperature" superconductor magnets ("high" being relative - meaning they don't require temperatures approaching absolute zero to operate). This brings them closer to the "room-temperature" magnets developed for Endeavour's reactors using alien-derived QCD (quantum chromo-dynamic) techniques.
